Which résumé format does Career Compass use?
The résumé builder exports one ATS-safe layout with standard headings, so you spend your time on content instead of design. If you want to compare other styles first, the Templates page shows four sample formats and explains what each one suits.
How does it turn my service experience into civilian language?
In the experience step, describe your trade, appointments and unit responsibilities in your own words. The “Translate Jargon” button rewrites them in civilian terms, and “Enhance with AI” tightens the wording. The builder can also draft a summary and suggest skills. Review every suggestion and keep only what you can explain in an interview.
What does the résumé scorer check?
Upload your résumé as a PDF of up to 1 MB. A general score reviews structure, writing quality, skills and ATS basics. The job-description mode compares your résumé with a posting you paste in and shows relevance gaps, along with the hard and soft skills it found and the ones it recommends adding.
Is it free, and do I need to sign in?

Can I come back and edit my résumé later?
